HOLE 2
The par five Second is the longest hole on the outward nine. Like the First, it slopes down to the right.
But the pin is five-hundred-and-forty yards from the back tee. ThereÆs a wooded gully all the way along the left-hand side, so a straight drive will risk playing out of bounds.
Even the best tee shot will leave you a long way from the green. An area of rough guards the front of the green, so itÆs best to leave yourself a generous approach shot.
There are three greenside bunkers, and a steep fall towards the gully at the back. A good approach to the back of the green will set up an interesting putting opportunity.
